NYC parks are one of the finest aspects of living here. They offer a much needed respite from the tumultuous drain on your senses. Flushing meadows corona park is one of our most calm, clean, and expansive parks and always worth a visit. If you’re lucky, you’ll stumble upon a cultural event like Hey Neighbor NYC.

Threw a small bbq day before 4th of july. First off there are signs that say no bbq'ing. But let me tell you....it is a huge park. Everyone was bbq'ing, playing sports, children scooting. It was soooo packed by the evening. And it was great! Everyone was having fun. Kids were so friendly with eachother. Adults playing sports, clean bathrooms and CLEAN areas! We cleaned up after ourlselves and left the trash bag for garbage crew, which were so nice and gave us lawn bags to make sure we threw everything out. Great experience. I'll be bbq'ing there for sure. Oh and you can pitch tents! Which is a plus to throw the kids in when they're tired hehe

Spotted Lanternfly nymph everywhere! I thought my two kids here and we saw 10 of them within 5 mins.
They are everywhere in the park and in the playground, on the ground, on the slides, everywhere

Looks like they stand where the Greyhound pavilion was in the 1964-65 New York World’s Fair. Can anyone confirm?

A great place to spend time with family, especially for a walk. The Queens Zoo is on location, which is also a plus.
