We’ve been with Alliance for about 5-6 years now. We started with our son being on a team then we decided to start coaching. We have had a few times where the other teams get a bit rowdy but the league officials take control immediately. The referees could probably use a bit more training but overall our experience has been nothing but positive. The league officials are always ready to help and answer any questions or concerns.

UPDATE Dec 22, 2025:
Email sent Oct 13: "U-6 Formal Complaint - Heather Miller - Golden Kickers" NO REPLY
Oct 18 I emailed the thread again and NO REPLY
This league is so poorly managed, but oddly care about their reviews and are willing to lie in review replies. Disgusting.
Proof of last sent email on Oct 18, requesting a refund and I never heard back.

Saturday, Oct 11, my Husband and I complained about my children's verbally abusive U-6 Coach (4 & 5 year olds) in a face to face conversation with the Lead Supervisor, Rick. He told me to email a formal complaint, so 10 days ago, I did that.
I also offered a resolution to switch teams. 5 days ago, due to lack of response and resolution, I requested a full refund for two sign-ups.
All of my emails were ignored.
They don't vet their volunteers and they don't care about your child's experience.

They have all the grass in the world but the games are played in the dirt parts. The refs are young which is fine but they don’t know the rules & if the coach tries to say something the refs immediately start calling everything against your team and nothing against the other team for the whole season. They allow club teams to face the rec teams & those games are just blow outs. People hate on NYS but this league is far worse imo.

Unprofessional management. Allows kids to play very nasty, does not hold coaches accountable when they tell kids to hurt the opposite team and they don't care when other kids get hurt. The manager himself said it.
(Guy with beard on the right)
Lady in on the picture was extremely rude when concerns about kids getting hurt were brought up and very unprofessional yelling at parents to stay on their teams side because thats all she cared about.

This soccer league is supposed to be recreational; however, I have kids playing in 3 different age divisions, and each division has at least 2 club teams that play together outside of this league. The coaches for these team purposely run the scores up and play the same 5-6 players all game until the last few minutes, when they finally let the less-talented players have a chance. It’s really sad to see and just demoralizing for teammates and opponents. The officials/league managers are all teenagers that do nothing. The referees have 0 interest in actually paying attention to the game. Very poorly run all around and would NOT recommend .
